Beautiful Underarms |
Ladies our underarms are one of some
sensitive areas on our bodies. No doubt the underarm skin darkens because of
our frequent hair removal. It may be shaving, waxing or even the hair removal
creams that actually claim to leave back fair skin. We can’t neglect the
deodorants, perfumes and antiperspirants that we use regularly. All these
products and treatments are actually the things that we can’t ignore. In this process we can’t help neglecting the
sensitive under arm skin. Remember the embarrassment we face when this skin
peeps out of our sexy sleeveless dresses?
No worries...We have some ingredients
that are straight out of the kitchen and
our dressing table which will help treat these dark underarms.
Lemon:

The acidic nature of lemon acts as a
good cleanser. Not forgetting the
bleaching, anti-bacterial, anti-septic properties which have proved lemon to be
treating lots of skin related problems since ages.
Rubbing a slice of lemon for 2 minutes
before going for a bath will work as an exfoliate. Follow this by application
of a moisturizer after bath as Lemon might leave your skin dry. Regularly following
this will help lighten you darkened skin.

Potatoes are known for their bleaching
agents. Being slightly acidic in nature
they are suitable to all skin types. Rub a potato slice to your underarm. Wash
it after 20 minutes with Luke warm water. Another thing you can do with potato
is- grate a potato and squeeze the juice out. Apply this liquid with a cotton
ball twice a day and wash it off with lukewarm water.

Baking powder can be called as the most
effective remedy for dark skin. Other than acting as a bleaching agent it also
helps prevent odour. So those troubled by bad odour try this. Make a thick
paste of a pinch full of baking powder and water. Apply this paste on d
underarms and scrub it for 10 minute. This will help exfoliate the skin and
also will leave the area germ free. Following this regularly will leave you
surprised with a fairer tone and lesser odour.
Orange

Who doesn't know about this sweet juicy
fruit and its health benefits? Dried Orange peel is great for skin too. Peel
the orange and sun-dry the skin completely. Grind the skin to make a powder.
Mix a teaspoon of this powder with rose water and milk to make a thick
paste. Scrub this paste in a circular
manner on your underarms. Leave it for 10 minutes and wash off. Be prepared for
a bleached, fresh and odour free underarm with a rosy and orangy fragrance.

Milk lightens the under arms along with
moisturizing it as its rich in vitamins and fatty acids. It may act as a
bleaching agent if grouped with curd and gram flour. Make a thick paste of 2
teaspoons of milk, 1 teaspoon of curd and 1 tea spoon of gram flour. Scrub it
on your underarms for 5 minutes. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash off with
lukewarm water. Following this regularly will show great results in long term.
Saffron:

Saffron is known for its high cost. But
at the same time it is the most effective. Mix some strands of saffron in 3-4
drops of milk and leave it for some hours. When the mixture turns yellow it
means the saffron has blended well with the milk. Apply this mixture by using a
cotton ball and leave it overnight. Wash
it in the morning and be surprised with the results.
Olive

Olive is a good moisturizer and
anti-oxidant. Mix 3 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil with 1 cup of brown
sugar. Mix it very well to form a thick paste. Apply this paste to wet
underarms and leave for 15-20 minutes.
Do this at least twice a week for lightened and well moisturized
underarms.
