Take a screenshot

Press the power button and the home button at the same instant and take a screen shot of anything you like.

Hide your app purchases

Open the App Store, from featured, select the purchased list and find the app that you want to hide, swipe left or right over the app and a small red button would appear saying Hide, select that option. To bring it back, sign in with your Apple id and tap on hidden purchases.

Recent Apps

If you want to jump on to another app without exiting the first one, just swipe up with your four fingers and all your recent apps would come up.

Adjust text size

Just head over to settings, then select Display and Brightness and find Text Size; slide to select the desired text size and you’re done.

Split the Keyboard

Place your thumb in the lower middle of the keyboard and swipe them apart and then your keyboard with stay like that. To bring it back together, keep your each thumb on the corners, only this time swipe them towards each other and it’ll be back to its original form.

Do Not Disturb

This will simply enable you to silence all the alerts and facetime calls. Go to settings, then Do Not Disturb, and then tap on Manual to enable it.

Easy Typing

Head over to settings, then general and move to Keyboard. You’ll find multiple options such as auto correction, caps lock, “.” Shortcut etc. Just tap on them to enable any options you want.

Undo Typing

Just shake your iPad once left and once back and an option will pop up saying Undo Typing, tap on Undo to delete the recently typed text.

Swipe Messages

Swipe on a message to the right to mark it as Read or Unread. Swipe on it t the left to delete it, or archive it or any other option.

Manage apps

Tap and Hold on an app, once the apps start jiggling, move an app on top of another app. Name it as a folder pops up.

If there’s any conversation on your messages that you want to leave or mute, simply tap on it and tap on details, the select Do Not Disturb.

Ask Siri “What song is this?” and she’ll help you.

If you want to make a web search, just ask Siri and she’ll do that for you.

Get Siri to pronounce your name the right way

Mentioned below are some tricks that you can use to unclog your bathtub drain easily. Sure it sounds gross but unclogging the drain using these tricks will help save a lot of money too. Read on to know more about it. 

How to unclog bathtub drain

•    Clean the Drain cover and Stopper

Now if the drain cover is fit into its place by a screw then unscrew it, and clean it. There may be some hair or other things accumulated that led to the clogging of the drain.Some bathtubs have a stopper preinstalled. On those tubs, first put on the stopper and then twist it to unscrew it. Then look for anything accumulated under it. Clean and wash the stopper thoroughly to unclog the drain. Now put the drain cover and the stopper back on the same way you removed it.

•    Baking Soda

In a container, mix baking soda and vinegar in equal quantity. Mix it thoroughly and pour it into the drain followed by some hot water. Don’t use boiling water. Now use a plumbing stick to remove any clog stuck.

•    Hot water

If your drain is lightly clogged, hot water trick works perfect. It is recommended that you do not use boiling water as it may end up damaging the fitting used in the bathtub drain.  Just pour some hot water into the drain without splashing. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes and then use a plunger.

•    Drain Hook

If the reason your drain has clogged is hair or some other things accumulated in the drain cover, then using a drain claw works best. If you don’t won a plumbing stick, then you can straighten a hanger and use it. You can also use any stick. Just insert it into the drain and try to catch any clog. But don’t push it into the drain as it will end up clogging the drain even more.  

•    Plumbing Snake

It is a metal tool that most plumbers use for catching any clog or debris. You can get it from any hardware store. There’s a spring on one side and a crank on the other side. The spring side is pushed into the drain and it extracts any clog accumulated in the drain.

•    Vacuum the clog

Be sure to use a liquid vacuum. To prevent any mess, secure the vacuum pipe properly. On the vacuuming end of the pipe, put on a hose that will help catch anything stuck in the drain. Put the vacuum pipe over the drain vent properly, and then turn on the vacuum. This will work if some small things such as a hair tie, buttons are stuck in the drain.

Tips: 

•    If using the tips mentioned above doesn’t work, you should consider calling a plumber as the clog maybe accumulated from a long time.

•    Don’t use harsh chemicals or drain cleaners. It might work in that moment that it may end up corroding the metal pipes. 

•    Also if you use a liquid drain cleaner, wait for at least 6 hours before taking a bath, as after some time, the cleaner may seep up from the drain into the bath. 

•    Whichever way you choose to go, be sure to follow the instructions carefully.
