Taj-Mahal
Taj Mahal

TajMahal- the most popular and one of wonder of the world is what makes Agra famous for.

From a childhood days, I always wished to see Taj Mahal. We went Agra for a business meeting with our clients at The Oberoi Amarvilas. Meeting finished at 4 in evening then to fulfill my dream we visited to Taj Mahal.

TajMahal- the white marble stone made shining mausoleum is so serene, heavenly and magnificent which will make you stuck with startled eyes for long to experience the beauty of it. The lovely and the most superb creation of Shah Jahan by his craftsmen and architecture had this Mahal built in remembrance of his beloved wife Mumtaj. Rudyard Kepling was true is describing the Taj Mahal as the embodiment of all things pure.

The fountains, the Yamuna running behind, the green grasses carpeted the two sides in the entrance and the sitting benches reminds of why world’s most famous kings and queen visited the glorious TajMahal. The two mosques on the two sides are all so dynamic and wonderful to see.

The bonding and eternal love between the benevolent emperor Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaj can be felt all around the place.

As you travel across the landscapes of Agra you can re-discover what you have learnt in your History books.

The Agra Fort is another marvelous piece of architecture which was also built by Shah Jahan in the 16th century. The red sandstone was used to build the entire fort with rich carvings and arts of both ancient and modern mixture.

From the TajMahal you can look around to see the Mehtab Bagh which has all the varieties of trees and shrubs and was the Mughal garden during the rule of the first Mughal ruler Bubur who came to rule India in the year 1526A.D.

The Dewan-E-Khas is also another famous attraction which was built by Shahjahan for conducting meetings with his personal ministers and other kings.

The Jama Masjid was built in 1649A.D which is also one of the famous mosques of muslims to pray.

Taj Mahal is closed on Friday. Before visiting this place makes sure you have a look at day.
