Bread : Do you love painting? Use the white bread to gently dust the oil painting. All you need to do is gently dab the slice of the bread over the surface to pick up the grime and dirt.

Ketchup : Yummy tomato ketchup can do wonders in cleaning. It helps in removing the tarnish from brass cookware and copper. All you need to do is squeeze the small amount of ketchup on a soft cloth and rub it gently on the pots and pans. After that, rinse it with warm water and pat dry using a towel.

Oatmeal : Scrub your very dirty hands using a thick paste of oatmeal and water. Rub it on your hands and wash your hands off.

Rice : Have problem in cleaning the thin-necked bottle or inside a vase? Rice would help you in solving this problem of yours. Simply fill the bottle or vase till 3 quarters with warm water. Add 1tbsp uncooked rice. close it with a cap or cup it using your hands. shake vigorously till 5 minutes and then rinse it off.

Tea : Tea helps in cleaning the rusty garden tools. Take strong black tea. Brew a few pots of it. Try cooling it off. Now pour it off in a bucket. Soak all rusty tools for few hours. After that, wipe each and every tool with a soft cloth. And yes, remember to wear rubber gloves or it may result in stained hands of yours.

Cornstarch : When your favorite carpet is stained with grease, you really feel heart-broken! But not worry now, here is what you can do to prevent your favorite carpet from getting completed stained and ruined. Simply pour the cornstarch on the effected area and spots. Sit back and relax for 15-30 minutes. Now vacuum it off.

Glycerin : Dried wax drippings can be seen almost everywhere around the window-side and walls, if you use candlesticks. Using just few drops of the glycerin will be very helpful. Firstly try peeling off the wax as much as possible. then slightly moisten a cotton ball using glycerin and rub it over the area until it gets completely cleaned.
